How Does It Work?

Are Consultations Remote or in Person?

Consultations are available both in person and remotely. Remote sessions can be conducted via phone or online platforms such as Zoom, WhatsApp, Teams, etc.

Follow-up Sessions (if applicable)

Follow-ups are offered weekly, bi-weekly, monthly, or as needed, based on your preferences and goals.

What Happens Before We Meet?

After selecting your plan and completing payment, you can schedule your consultation via phone or email. I will then send you a Client Informed Consent Statement, which must be signed and returned at least 24 hours before our meeting, along with a completed Client Information Form covering your health history and a five-day food journal.

 

This information will help guide our discussion and ensure the consultation is tailored to your needs.

What Happens During Consultations?

We’ll explore your health history, discuss your current situation, and set clear goals. I’ll provide evidence-based insights and personalized recommendations, including meal ideas and resources tailored to your preferences.

By the end of the consultation, we’ll create a tailored plan together. Afterward, you’ll receive a summary email with your personalized care plan and any assignments. In follow-up sessions, we’ll review your progress, celebrate achievements, and address any challenges.

  • What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
    I am a Certified Health Educator and a Certified Food Over Medicine Instructor. Additionally, I hold several other health and nutrition certificates, including the Starch Solution Certificate and a Certificate in Plant-based Nutrition from the T.   • Which health conditions can benefit from a whole-foods, plant-based diet?
    A WFPB diet is associated with various health advantages, such as promoting healthy weight loss, enhancing mood, improving sleep, reversing conditions like diabetes, hypertension, and fatty liver disease, as well as managing autoimmune diseases and heart disease. It can also lower the risk of certain cancers and reduce cognitive decline.
  • What types of customers have you worked with?
    I have worked with clients ranging from 20 to 80 years old, with diverse educational backgrounds, income levels, and fitness abilities. While each client receives a personalized coaching program, the emphasis is always on making small, sustainable changes guided by the client. These adjustments have led to improved overall health and weight loss, whether or not weight loss was a specific goal.
  • Do I have to be vegan to work with you?
    No, being vegan is not a requirement. We'll create a dietary plan tailored to your needs.
  • What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
    · After you select the plan that best fits your needs and complete your payment, you can schedule your consultation by phone or email. Consultations are available in person, over the phone, or online via Microsoft Teams or WhatsApp. · Once your session is scheduled, I will email you a Client Informed Consent Statement. Please review, sign, and return it at least 24 hours before our meeting. · You will also receive a Client Information Form, which includes questions about your health history and a five-day food journal. It’s important to complete the form fully and return it by email at least 24 hours before our session, as it forms the foundation of our discussion.
  • I've bought a plan; when can I begin?
    You can start in approximately a week. The Client Information Form includes a 5-day food journal, which needs to be submitted at least 24 hours prior to our session.
  • Do I need to track calories?
    No, calorie counting is not recommended. Your diet will be less calorie-dense, allowing you to eat freely and as much as you'd like.
  • How did you get started doing this type of work?
    In 2013, I was diagnosed with a rare autoimmune condition called relapsing polychondritis. Instead of following my doctor's recommendation for corticosteroid treatment, I opted for a low-fat, whole-food, plant-based diet. This not only reversed my autoimmune condition but also improved my overall health. Inspired by these positive changes and recognizing that a whole-food, plant-based diet can prevent and even reverse many chronic diseases such as diabetes, heart disease, obesity, and autoimmune diseases, I pursued further studies in nutrition-based health, turning it into a passion of mine.
  • How long will it take before I see improvement in my health?
    The timeframe for seeing improvements can vary significantly based on individual health conditions, age, duration of the ailment, and the number of medications being taken. While some individuals may experience notable improvements within a few days or weeks, others might require several months to see significant progress.
