Vegan Tortilla Wraps
Healthy inside and out, these tortillas are full of omega-3 fatty acids, vitamins and antioxidants.
Homemade Tortilla Ingredients:
1/2 cup rolled oats
1/2 cup water
2 Tbsps chia seeds
2 Tbsps flaxseed
Directions:
Process all ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Set aside.
On the stove, heat a large pan.
Pour batter into the pan and make a thin and round sheet.
Once the bottom is cooked, carefully invert the sheet and cook for a little while longer until it is fully cooked but not dry.
Lay vegan tortilla flat to cool.
Stuffing Ingredients:
2 slices of avocado
1 slice of baked tempeh
1 tsp hummus
1 lettuce leaf
Directions:
While the tortillas are cooling, prepare your stuffing ingredients. Set aside.
Honey Mustard Sauce Ingredients:
2 Tbsps vegan mustard
1 tsp lemon juice
1 tsp maple syrup
1 tsp soy sauce
1/2 tsp garlic powder
1/2 tsp sesame seeds
Directions:
Process all Honey Mustard Sauce ingredients in a high-speed blender until smooth. Pour into a small bowl.
To Serve:
Insert ingredients in the homemade tortilla.
Serve with homemade Honey Mustard Sauce.
