If you are pressed for time, you will love the 5-Minute Tofu Scramble. All done in one pan, ready in minutes - what's not to like!

5-Minute Tofu Scramble


Ingredients

  • 1 14-ouce block extra firm tofu, drained and crumbled

  • 3 Tbsps nutritional yeast

  • 1 tsp garlic powder

  • 1 tsp onion powder

  • 1/2 tsp turmeric

  • 2 tsps mixed Italian herbs, dried

  • 1 Tbsp Braggs Aminos or low sodium Tamari

  • 1 tsp chilli flakes

  • 1/4 tsp black salt (for egg flavor, optional but eggcellent!)

  • 1/2 tsp white pepper

  • 3 Tbsps fresh parsley, chives, or the green parts of spring onion, chopped (optional)


Directions

  1. Put the tofu into a cold frying pan, crumble the tofu by hand, making sure no large pieces remain.

  2. Add all other ingredients into a bowl, mix well.

  3. In a non-stick frying pan over medium-high heat, sauté the mixture for about 3 to 5 minutes. Add water or veggie broth if needed.

Note: Serve with your favorite raw or lightly steamed veggies, air-fried or cooked potatoes...
